Recently, restoration of the Brewers Fountain Plaza has taken place on the Boston Common. As part of the restoration for this section of the Commons the entire plaza around the fountain has been removed.
Check out the video of the fountain and plaza prior to removal of all the granite material.
Stone Farm was fortunate enough to salvage most of the granite material. This historic material is now available for your project.
Granite steps - 4"x 24"x various lengths - An elegant brown with low profile and non slip grooves etched on the front of the treads.
Rolled granite curb - Gorgeous round beveled gray curb would make a great formal edging.
Gray granite paving stones - 2'x3'x3" honed granite pavers used right around the edge of the fountain.
Mason granite paving blocks - 24"x 4-5'x12" We usually don't find reclaimed paving stock that is 12" thick! These beautiful paving blocks would make great steps, wall stone, granite banding or could be reused as pavers again.
Decorative granite pieces - 8 pyramid shaped light granite decorative stones. These stones were used as radius pieces in the steps around the fountain. What can you use them for?
4 inch granite curb - 4"x12"x various length curb was used as in lays in the plaza. All the tops are very worn from foot traffic. The edging that surrounded the plaza was 4"x18"x various lengths. All of this would make great paving material as the 4" thickness makes it much easier to install. Edging material is a natural as well.
